New Delhi, Nov 12 (PTI) Policy-makers in the field of innovation from several countries will assemble here on Monday for a conference where India will share its experiences in the area. The two-day global roundtable on inclusive innovation, hosted by Sam Pitroda-led National Innovation Council in collaboration with the World Bank Institute, will brainstorm on initiatives to provide access to citizens to equal opportunities. The roundtable will see participation from countries like the UK, the US, Finland, Sweden, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, Brazil, Mexico and from the European Commission. "This roundtable will discuss cross-country experience and initiatives in promoting innovation," an official spokesman said here today. "This forum is seen as an opportunity to present India's efforts at promoting a new model of inclusive innovation - which focuses on the needs of common citizens who do not have equal access to opportunities, especially in areas like agriculture, education, health, skills, green energy, and so on," the spokesman said.
